A biomechanical assessment will provide you with information about your standing, walking or running style to help you improve your posture and prevent injuries.
Where there are inefficiencies in your movement, your body will try to compensate and whilst this can be effective in the short term, over time this can lead to aches, pains and injuries – not just of the feet and legs, but also of the back and shoulders.
A biomechanical assessment is a 45 minute session, using a range of equipment. As part of the assessment, you will receive impartial advice on exercises, physiotherapy and/or corrective devices that could benefit you.
Our Prosthetist/Orthotist has been trained to degree level to recognise these functional and, contrary to podiatrists, who concentrate on feet, will be able to provide you with an understanding of your whole body.
Benefit from our free assessments every Wednesday morning.
